XS 550 / F 115
The XS 550 is the first craft in the 2.6 m beam range and with its high bow and deep V hull it offers good internal room and a great ride. Readily towable on a braked trailer behind any family car this is a great entry level Blue Water boat.
The XS 550 performs well with motors from 75-115 hp. As with all craft weight distribution is important and double consoles do push weight back in the boat, but they are still a viable option. However most XS 550 craft have jockey consoles.
